HI! I'M KAYLA
Welcome to LA CREATIVE! Here's a little about me -

Drawing has always been my number one passion. As soon as I learnt how to hold a pencil I started drawing and never stopped. I mainly worked with coloured pencils but also enjoyed experimenting with acrylic paints.
After finding out I had arthritis in my hand and would need joint fusion surgery I was forced to take a break from doing what I love. However I did my best to turn a set back into an artistic opportunity by delving into the world of graphic design. This allowed me to channel my creativity in a different style and expand my skill range as an artist. I went on to complete my Bachelor of Design Honours and started working full time as a graphic designer, creating greeting cards and event stationery.

I founded LA CREATIVE in 2019 after gifting some of my works to close family and friends. I began to share these digital illustrations on my instagram and the positive response inspired me to turn my business dream into a reality.
I create custom artworks that can take a moment and make it even more personal. Whether this be a portrait of a couple, family group, fur baby or anything in between. I enjoy working closely with my clients to ensure the final product is everything they hoped it would be.
